Refugee Awareness Month (RAM) will take place in the month of June 2017 with World Refugee Day taking place on June 20, 2017.  World Refugee Day honors the courage, strength, and determination of men, women, and children who are forced to flee their homeland under threat of persecution, conflict, and violence.  This annual celebration recognizes the hard-working network of refugee resettlement agencies in our state and highlights the remarkable achievements of refugees throughout California.

The California Department of Social Services (CDSS), Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) partners with other agencies to celebrate RAM.  Below is the calendar of events for RAM for the month of June 2017.
