Agency, Independent, and Intercountry Adoption Programs Annual Statistical Report

This annual statistical report provides basic aggregate program data about the three adoption programs supervised by CDSS, including both public and private Agency Adoptions, Independent Adoptions, and Intercountry Adoptions.

The charts and graphs contained within the Executive Summary illustrate the significant highlights of the 1998-1999 publication.

Characteristics of Agency Adoptions in California
This annual publication tabulates and describes characteristics of children, their birth parent(s), and their adoptive
parent(s) involved in Agency Adoptions in California. Included are lists of adoption agencies licensed to perform Agency Adoptions, a glossary of terms, and a copy of the source Agency Adoption Program - Individual Case Report (AD 42R).

Characteristics of Independent Adoptions in California, July 2000 - June 2001 (74 pages)
This annual publication tabulates and describes characteristics of children, their birth parent(s), and their adoptive parent(s) involved in Independent Adoptions in California. Included are lists of adoption agencies licensed to perform Independent Adoptions, a glossary of terms, and a copy of the source Independent Adoption Program - Individual Case Report (AD 42I).
