CDSS ACL 00-08 -- January 3, 2000 (Synopsis): County Written Policies and Procedures in CalWORKs

Reference:  ACL 98-58, ACINs I-32-99, I-70-99

This ACL reminds counties that they must develop written policies and procedures for those areas in CalWORKs in which they have discretion to set standards. MPP§11-501.3 requires that, for those areas in which counties have discretion to adopt specific standards that affect an applicant or recipient's CalWORKs eligibility, grant amount or WTW activities, policies and procedures must be in writing and be made available to the public upon request.
