Questions and Answers Regarding the 250 Percent Program
This ACWDL provides 28 answers to questions about the 250 % program for the working disabled. It clarifies that a 250% working disabled person is in his/her own MFBU except in the case of a working disabled couple who would be in one MFBU. Other family members would be in a separate MFBU.
A person eligible for the 250% working disabled program does not have status reporting requirements, (i.e., a working disabled person does not need to return a quarterly status report) but is required to report all changes (such as earnings or address changes) to the county within ten days of the change.
Examples of work are provided in this ACWDL although work is not specifically defined. Beneficiaries are considered to be working if they are receiving vacation or sick leave pay from their employer.
