Domenika
v. Saenz Court OrderWhere a minor parent resides with his/her senior parent, child support payments made to a senior parent on behalf of the minor parent and intended to provide for the needs of the minor parent shall not be considered in determining CalWORKs eligibility and grant amount for the minor parent's child. Prior to Domenika, CDSS considered such child support payment as income to the minor parent.
This change became effective February 1, 2001. MPP §89-201.514 has not been modified to reflect this change.
