Effective August 22, 2002, (August 21, 2002 per Manual Letter 02-05) there are new regulations at MPP §40-188 regarding the ICT process. Some of those changes are as follows:
§40-188.11-This subsection adds a requirement for the first county to use a Notification of ICT form to notify the second county of the case transfer.
§40-188.12-This subsection requires the first county to notify the recipient to immediately apply to the second county for a redetermination of eligibility to avoid a break in aid.
§40-188.13-This subsection requires the first county to provide the second county with copies of several specific documents within seven working days from the date the first county notifies the second county of a case transfer.
§40-188.21-This subsection requires the second county to provide or send an appointment letter to the recipient if the second county knows the recipient's address. This subsection adds that county may not stop or suspend aid because the recipient failed to keep the first appointment during the transfer period.
