Reference: ACL 97-20

ACL 97-20 advised of the Maximum Family Grant for AFDC. That ACL stated that the Maximum Aid Payment (MAP) would not be increased for any AFDC AU that has received AFDC continuously for ten months prior to the birth of a child when the child is born on or after August 1, 1997. There were certain exceptions to the MFG rule stated in ACL 97-29.

ACL 97-42 advises that the MFG was not implemented until September 1, 1997.
