Notes from the Training Bureau - April 30, 1998

Counties must immediately cease all recoupment of overpayments established due to lump sum periods of ineligibility which were imposed after November 1, 1996, or which were imposed before that date but continued through that date. Counties are to take no further action related to these overpayments except to flag cases for later payment of corrective underpayments. Instructions regarding distribution of underpayment supplements will be issued in a future ACL.
