CDSS ACL 98-22 -- March 23, 1998 (Synopsis): Approval of Payment of Share of Cost Regulations in the In-Home Supportive Services (IHSS) Program

This ACL advises of changes in IHSS share of cost regulation changes. The regulations establish that payment of the share of cost is a condition of eligibility for IHSS (§30-755.233(a)), discuss the responsibility and manner for collecting the share of cost (§30-755.233(b)), state the consequences for not paying the share of cost (§30-755.233(c) and (d)) and establish that an overpayment occurs when the share of cost is not paid (§30-768). This ACL also provides questions and answers.

These regulations became effective September 4, 1997.
