Item 98-07-01J
CDHS ACWDLs 98-17 -- May 5, 1998 and 98-23 -- June 5, 1998 (Synopsis): Minor Married Child(ren) Living in the Home of a Parent

Reference: ACWDL 98-11

As stated in ACWDL 98-11, a minor married child living in the home of a parent is now treated as a child, not as an adult. At the time of application or redetermination, the minor’s parent must apply for the minor.

This ACWDL provides a revised copy of Title 22 CCR §50373 found in Barclays. It explains how the MFBU is established when the minor married parent is in the home (see situation 10 of Title 22 CCR §50373).

This ACWDL provides examples of situations with three MFBUs with Sneede and percent program issues. The examples in ACWDL 98-17 had several errors. ACWDL 98-23 was issued as an errata to ACWDL 98-17. Pages three through seven of ACWDL 98-23 replace the examples from 98-17.
