This Management Bulletin provides information on business practiceresource information offered by the United States Department ofAgriculture (USDA), Food and Nutrition Service.
To improve the business practices of sponsoring organizationsand providers, USDA encourages interested agencies to contactthe Small Business Administration (SBA) and its related organizationsincluding the Service Corps of Retired Executives, Business InformationCenters, Tribal Business Information Centers, and Women’sBusiness Centers.
Created in 1953, the SBA aids and assists small business concernsthrough services that include free business development advice,a variety of free classes, and a resource center.
The SBA serves California through six district offices locatedin Sacramento, San Francisco, Fresno, Los Angeles, Santa Ana,and San Diego. To obtain more information on SBA services, pleasevisit their Web site at
