Immigration Services

The Immigration Services Unit (ISU) ensures the effective development and implementation of programs and funding initiatives necessary to support legal services, outreach, community education, and other immigrant integration efforts. The ISU's initiatives include services to increase access to Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals (DACA), Other Immigration Remedies (OIR), naturalization, removal defense, and immigration protection for Unaccompanied Undocumented Minors (UUMs).

Immigration Services Funding ... services to increase access to DACA, OIR, naturalization, other immigration remedies, and removal defense.

Unaccompanied Undocumented Minors (UUMs) services to eligible UUMs who are present in California and transferred to the care and custody of the federal Office of Refugee Resettlement (ORR) or are residing with a sponsor.
