Immigrant Services Bureau — California Department of Social Services

Immigration Services Bureau

Mission & Vision

The mission of the Immigration Services Bureau (ISB) is to provide immigrant Californians with high-quality immigration legal services and other supportive services to facilitate their integration into their community.

About

The ISB develops, implements, and administers comprehensive programs that fund nonprofits across the State to provide pro bono immigration legal services, education and community outreach, critical assistance in emergent situations, and other essential immigrant inclusion and integration efforts.

Legal support for the most underserved immigrant populations and regions can be found through nonprofit organizations throughout the State, at California State Universities, and at California Community Colleges.

Urgent Immigrant Resources

The Regional Network Hubs for Immigrant Families (RNH) is a new statewide initiative to support the coordination of legal services, education and information, and other services to immigrant families in 11 regions of California. To see who to reach out to or for other resources, visit the Immigrant Legal Resource Center RNH website.
