April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month
Due to COVID-19, OCAP and the Child Abuse Prevention Center will be cancelling this year’s Kids’ Day at the Capitol. We would like to thank all the agencies and organizations that signed up to participate, as well as the vendors that help bring our vision of Kids’ Day to life. Without your participation and support, this event would not have been possible for the past two years. We hope to have you all there next year to help us make the event bigger and better than ever before!
Kids' Art Contest
We're inviting kids to participate in the Second Annual Child Abuse Prevention Month Kids’ Art Contest. This is open
to children and youth in the following categories: K-2nd, 3rd-6th, 7th-8th and 9th-12th. This year’s theme for the
art contest is “
My Hero”. We would like to know what a "Hero" means to you. Entries will be due on
March 22, 2020.

NOTE: Winners will be acknowledged at Kids' Day at the Capitol and receive a framed copy of his or her artwork.
