Innovation CDSS – Let's Do Better

Innovation CDSS is a groundbreaking effort that transcends from the status quo in public service, which promotes and supports the mission of the California Health and Human Services Agency’s Governance Council.  

“The mission of the CHHS Governance is to challenge existing ways of thinking and doing business in order to foster innovation, spark engagement, and solve collective challenges more effectively and efficiently to better serve all Californians.  The Council envisions and supports a nimble government system that opens doors to dialogue and new ideas, engages stakeholders, shares best practices and lifts the work of others.”

Innovation CDSS will showcase, innovators, programs, best practices, cool innovations and life lessons. A creative, safe, and fun environment for all CDSS staff to share their ideas, inventions and feedbacks that could spark lively conversations about doing better. Doing better for the public that we serve and protect and also for everyone that works and administers our programs and services. 

Communication Sub-Committee

The innovators that shake up the way we communicate. The team focuses on informal messaging, robust feedback loops, borrowing proven methods from social media that help shape the way we do business in today’s world. Imagine new technologies and service models we see from private businesses that drive down operating costs, increase accessibility and improve services that could be applied in public service. 

This will also promote healthy options, competitive and creative environment for CDSS staff that will help promote overall work experience and improve skills.
