About the Refugee Programs Bureau
The Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) helps refugees and other eligible individuals and families gain the skills they need to become financially independent and adjust socially after arriving in the United States.
We do this by working together with counties, resettlement agencies, schools, and community organizations across the state.
RPB Mission
Our
mission is to lead and coordinate programs that help
refugees and other eligible individuals and families successfully resettle and
adjust to life in California.
RPB Vision
Our vision is to empower and support individuals to successfully transition and grow in their new communities in California.
RPB Sections & Units
Internally the RPB is comprised of three sections, each with two units responsible for overseeing the state's administrative functions. They include the:

- Quality Assurance & Training Section
- Training & Technical Assistance Unit
