Refugee Programs Bureau — Immigrant Integration, California Department of Social Services

Refugee Programs Bureau

Mission & Vision

The mission of the Refugee Programs Bureau (RPB) is to lead and coordinate programs that help refugees and other vulnerable populations successfully resettle and adjust to life in California.

Our vision is to empower and support individuals to successfully transition and grow in their new communities in California.

What We Do

The RPB helps refugees and other vulnerable populations gain the skills they need to become financially independent and adjust socially after arriving in the United States.

We do this by working together with counties, resettlement agencies, schools, and community organizations across the state.
