Section 12.1 Training Requirements

All CACFP agencies are required to complete training requirements for the program. For information on these training requirements, refer to Child and Adult Care Food Programs Bulletins CACFP-03-2019: Training Requirements for the CACFP on the CACFP Bulletins web page. This bulletin covers the following topics:

  • Training for new CACFP agencies
  • Training for participating CACFP agencies when adding a new program type
  • Annual mandatory training
  • Required CACFP training provided by CACFP agencies
  • Documentation requirements
  • Consequences if training requirements are not met
  • Technical assistance offered by the CDSS
  • Training Resources
