Statewide Outreach Advisory Roundtable

Overview

In support of California Department of Social Services (CDSS) statewide outreach efforts, CDSS established the Statewide Outreach Advisory Roundtable (SOAR) to design and implement CalWORKs campaigns that provide the greatest level of support for program recipients. SOAR is a collaborative initiative designed to strengthen partnerships with stakeholders and improve access to critical services for local communities. Mission + Vision

SOAR is dedicated to fostering meaningful partnerships with state and county employees, community-based organizations, advocates, and others to enhance access to services for local communities. By building trust between program recipients and advisory members, we aim to empower low-income families to access additional benefits and services by reducing barriers. Through collaboration and the sharing of resources, SOAR collectively identifies and addresses challenges while promoting actionable solutions.
