Free and Voluntary Assistance:

The Site Assessment Section (SAS) of the California Department of Public Health (CDPH) is offering free and voluntary assistance to new child care license applicants. SAS will evaluate your proposed child care facility for any environmental threats which could potentially lead to health issues. SAS/CDPH can also connect you to free resources and best practices to reduce exposures to toxic chemicals.

If you would like an evaluation of your future child care facility or if you have any questions you can email SAS/CDPH at CSP@cdph.ca.gov.
