CalFresh E&T Technical Assistance
Purpose
The CDSS provides guidance to CalFresh E&T administrators to ensure E&T programs follow state and federal rules and regulations. The Technical Assistance (TA) Unit provides support, guidance, and training to program administrators. Program administrators include counties, state partners, tribes, tribal organizations, and others. The TA Unit also fields questions about program expansion, compliance, or other concerns.
The CalFresh E&T TA Unit assists with items including:
- Quarterly Progress Reports
- Onsite TA visits
- Interpretations of regulations and federal guidance
- Proactive assessment of county and state partner TA needs
- Performance analysis
- Written guidance (like All County Letters).
